The Amsterdam Kindersymposium is organised by an enthusiastic committee of ten PhD candidates from Amsterdam UMC. Together, they are dedicated to putting together an inspiring and educational symposium each year for everyone involved in paediatrics.
The committee members come from a wide range of paediatric subspecialties. This diversity in background and expertise is a major strength: it ensures that the symposium has a broad scope and reflects the interests of its intended audience.
Each committee member is involved in the organisation for two years, with half of the committee being replaced by new PhD candidates every year. This brings in new energy and fresh ideas on a regular basis, while continuity is maintained by the members who have been involved for longer.
